FAQs
Do you direct bill?
Yes, I direct bill to many major health insurance companies, including MVA companies. Check out the tab above for more info.
How early should i come for my massage?
If you have not done any of the paper work that was emailed to you prior, I would suggest coming 10 minutes early. Otherwise you're welcome to come 5 minutes early to get checked in and settled on the table.
Do i have to remove all my clothing?
Nope! you can wear as much or as little clothing as you want. You will be underneath sheets and a blanket so that you are completely covered up.
If my massage is not covered by my health insurance can i claim it on my taxes?
No, as per the rules that the government created you cannot claim massage therapy as a medical expense in Alberta. Although you can claim it on a health spending account if you have them!
How often should i go for massage?
It depends on the person! When you come in for a massage I will be able to figure out the best treatment plan to get to your goals after the treatment. Everyone’s muscles respond differently. Usually though if your body begins to get sore again after a massage that’s a good indicator to come back in for a treatment.
How long should i book for?
I always recommend to start with a 60 minute massage first and then following appointments can be adjusted from there.
